Pu'er Tea goes through a natural fermentation process, and is one of the only teas that flavours improves for the longer it ages. Unlike most Pu’er, our Classic Pu’er does not go through the pressing process but is left loose. Leaving the tea loose means in comparison to pressing Pu’er, once brewed, will leave a darker and stronger flavour. Earthy, mushroom-like flavours, slightly herbaceous and never bitter.
Rich earthy character, with a nice depth of flavours. Mushroom characters, with a subtle sweet aftertaste. A great tea to be enjoyed after a big meal!
Pu'er tea has many potential health benefits if consumed regularly. It is an antioxidant that can help to prevent damage in the body from free radicals. It has antibacterial properties that can help protect your body from harmful bacterias. It contains anti-inflammatory properties that can help with easing redness, swelling, and irritation. As it is a fermented tea, probiotics are known for helping with digestion and eliminating toxins from our bodies.
