Bi Luo Chun is renowned for its strong fruity aroma and mellow flavour. A plantation growing Bi Luo Chun is amazing to visit, with the tea plants mixed in with a variety of fragrant fruit trees to give the tea its aroma and taste. Our Supreme grade Bi Luo Chun undergoes a short oxidisation period and is therefore almost a hybrid of green and white tea.
A pale golden liquor gives off aromas of citrus and stone fruits and flavours of popcorn with a slightly vegetal taste.
The Chinese have been drinking green tea for centuries and it is now well known that green tea improves cardiovascular health, reduces the risk of cancer and aids with weight loss. Green tea comes from the same plant as black tea, but is harvested at a younger age. It is consumed "fresh", while black tea is consumed roasted and oxidised. Green tea is thus less processed and retains more of its nutrients and antioxidants than black tea.
- Place 1 1/2 of tea spoon of tea in tea pot.
- Boil Water to 85℃ to 90℃ (Pref Filtered Water).
- Brew tea up to 1 1/2 minutes (remove tea after brew time).
- Repeat the brewing up to 4 times.
