Tea Description:
White Peony, also known by the traditional name Bai Mu Dan, made of young tea leaves and silvery unopened leaf buds. White Peony is plucked in budsets consisting of one or two leaves and a bud, it is left to wither and dry. Resulting to one of the least processed tea we have to offer.
Flavour Profile:
A light floral and refreshing fragrance, with slightly sweet undertones. A light and easy tea to drink, a perfect introductory tea to start off with.
Health Benefit:
White tea is considered the purest form of tea undergoing almost no processing compared to green/black tea therefore retaining most of its caffeine and antioxidants. High antioxidants help to detox toxins from the body and help to strengthen the immune system. Highest in caffeine content compared to other teas, makes it a great morning beverage.
Brew Instructions:
- Place 1 1/2 Teaspoon of tea in Teapot.
- Boil Water to 85℃.
- Brew tea up to 1 1/2 minutes (remove tea after brew time).
- Repeat the brewing up to 5 times.
